Richard Lapidus has long been known as a serious Tombstone collector, an ardent supporter of continuing Earp research and preservation, and author. He is also one of the people in this field who is devoted to doing his utmost to be fair and honest with others.
His book entitled " Snake Hunting on the Devil's Highway" has been acknowledged by many as a fine and fun read.
I just added the Wyatt Earp photo page which begins with my photo of Wyatt Earp as a young boy. Richard wrote to us with his reaction to this image. -John Rose
"John, Congratulations on owning this important photo. I appreciate you sharing this. For a long time now, I've been very impressed with your collection and the work (research) you are doing in this field. Thank you!
 Warm campfires!"
